Our story
Starting out in a garage, like any self-respecting start-up, GLIMPS was created in 2019 by 4 engineers from the French Ministry of the Armed Forces. Initially a pilot project incubated within the Cyber Defense Factory, GLIMPS grew rapidly and the company took off, establishing a permanent presence in the Rennes area. This strategic location enables GLIMPS to benefit from solid support right from the start, while enjoying an environment conducive to innovation and advanced research in cybersecurity.
In the spring of 2021, GLIMPS raises 6 million euros, consolidating its position as a major player in the French cybersecurity landscape.
In July 2023, GLIMPS opens its first subsidiary in North America with the creation of its Toronto office to accelerate growth and develop its customer portfolio in the North American market. The opening of this office is a continuation of the initiatives undertaken in Canada since 2021.
Today, GLIMPS is much more than just a startup. With around fifty employees, it is a company in constant evolution, meeting the challenges of modern cybersecurity. It continues to innovate and stay one step ahead of new threats, while remaining true to its mission: to protect businesses and institutions against cyber-attacks
